Bangalore electricity supply company rotates staggering holidays again

BENGALURU: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has shifted the routine of the staggering holidays for industries in the city to manage the power cuts this week. The holidays are implemented from Monday. This arrangement was done in the last week too. The utility claims to save 150MW of power by rotating the holidays of industries to mitigate the crisis leadinng to erratic power cuts in the residential areas of Bengaluru and other districts under its transmission coverage.
